Tanbark Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2014. Philip Togni, Napa Valley, California. The second wine of the estate and made from just about all Cabernet, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Tanbark Hill Vineyard offers classic, Saint Julien-like notes of crème de cassis, sandalwood, lead pencil and spicy oak. Medium to full-bodied, nicely balanced, with ripe tannin. It improves with time in the glass so don't be afraid to give it an hour in a decanter if drinking anytime soon.
