Cantina del Pino Barbaresco 2015. Piemonte. Cantina del Pino is named after a famous ‘Pino’ or pine tree that was planted on this estate’s vineyards many years ago, in Barbaresco, Piemonte. Barbaresco might not have the prestige of some of the neighbouring Barolos, but it can be very good indeed, and is also made by the local Piemontese Nebbiolo variety. Renato Vacca has made this lovely, red-fruited, structured Barbaresco from the 2015 vintage, an easy year than 2014, slightly warmer and the wines are therefore a little riper in style.
