Piattelli Malbec 2016. Reserve, Mendoza, Argentina. Reminiscent of dark currant and blueberry. Fresh yet has a mineral complexity. The finish is strong with notes of bittersweet chocolate and pepper. Roasted meat, plums, blueberries and hints of cooked mushrooms. Medium body, round and dusty tannins and a tangy finish. Fun wine.
