Jonathan Bautista feels the music. This is the same exact way he encourages his audiences and students to enjoy and learn jazz music. He is a Bay Area musician, composer and educator. Born and raised in San Francisco, Jonathan attended the school of the arts for high school, San Jose state university for his BA and did graduate work at the Manhattan School of Music. He has studied both classical and jazz repertoire with Melecio Magdaluyo, William Trimble, Dr. Paul Cohen and Bobby Watson. Jonathan has played with James Williams, John Santos, Jesus Diaz, and at Davies Symphony hall, the San Jose jazz festival, Stanford jazz festival, Yoshi's and other venues around the San Francisco Bay Area.
