Alex Hand
Alex Hand is a 27 year old guitarist living in the bay area. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno's jazz program in 2011 and has since been focusing on his love of many folk music styles. Alex has performed and recorded gypsy swing, Irish trad and Eastern European folk styles. His solo project focuses on bringing these influences and aesthetics together with a jazz sensibility that he and his peers call, "folk-jazz," which finds a voice in both acoustic and electric settings.
